ΤΖΑΤΖΙΚΙ

  •  1 cucumber (½ medium or 1/3 large), peeled, grated and drained
  • 1 ½ – 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 spoon of olive oil
  • 3 spoons of vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 500 gr drained yogurt
  • 5 – 6 dill clove, finely chopped (optionally)
  1. Clean the cucumber and rub it on the grater.
  2. Put the cucumber inside a towel that we have placed in a bowl.
  3. Add salt and 1 spoon from the vinegar.
  4. We drain our cucumber very well with the towel. We need to tighten it a lot for all the humidity to escape.
  5. Put the yogurt in a bowl and add the cucumber and the other 2 spoon vinegar.
  6. Beat the garlic in the mortar together with olive oil and add it to the yoghurt.
  7. Chop the dill, add it to yoghurt, salt and pepper.
